How to Choose Crushers for Coarse, Medium and Fine Crushing Works?

The most common crushing process in the metal concentrator is the three-stage closed-circuit crusher process with coarse, medium and finely crushing operations, but there also have two-stage open or closed-circuit crushing process.

The first stage of the three-stage crushing process is coarse crushing, generally uses jaw crusher or gyratory crusher; the second stage, namely medium crushing, is the standard type cone crusher; and the third stage is fine crushing, which often uses the short head type cone crusher.

For small capacity ore processing plant, the third stage crushing operation can choose roller crusher.

In the two-stage closed-circuit crushing operation, the last stage mostly uses medium cone crusher. In small ore beneficiation plant or crushing brittle materials, impact crusher or hammer crusher is the better choice.
